PIRTEK USA Franchise Claims Questioned

Claims made by PIRTEK USA franchise CEO Kim Gubera are being challenged by the leading franchise watchdog site.

They ask Gubera and Chairman Glenn Duncan about claims that the industrial hose chain had zero closures in 2020.

In an interview with Franchise Times editor Beth Ewen in November, 2020, Gubera discussed COVID challenges.

In that interview, Gubera stated “…fortunately we have had no closures.”

PIRTEK USA Franchise Closures Questioned

PIRTEK USAYesterday, Unhappy Franchisee published an article on the PIRTEK USA franchise claim, asking Gubera for clarification.

To make his point, publisher Sean Kelly posted text and images from a PIRTEK USA press release promoting its first NY franchise. In addition, he posted company documents indicating the NY franchise closed in 2020. This seemingly contradicts Gubera’s claim.

Questions for the Franchisor’s Leadership Remain

Today, Kelly published a follow-up post. This post states that other locations may have closed in California, Arizona, Texas and Virginia during or close to 2020.

In this post, the author calls on Kim Gubera & Glenn Duncan to be open and transparent with these and other claims about the franchise.
