Presidential 7-Election Results Are In: Obama by a Landslide!

The 7-Election results are in!

7-Eleven franchise owners are playing the role of pollsters once again in this Presidential election, and if their accuracy is consistent with the last two elections, John McCain and Sarah Palin will have more time in the coming years to count their houses and hunt moose, respectively.

According to the preferences determined via 7-Eleven coffee drinkers’ cups of choice, it’s Obama by a landslide:

OBAMA:   60%

Silly Marketing Ploy?  Consider this: 7-Eleven customers were within one point of the actual voting percentage for 3 of 4 candidates in the past two elections.

George W. Bush: US Voters: 47.9 percent, 7-Eleven Voters: 51percent
Al Gore: US Voters: 48.4 percent, 7-Eleven Voters: 49 percent

2004 Election
George W. Bush: US Voters: 50.7 percent, 7-Eleven Voters: 51percent

It will be interesting to see how close the 7-Eleven coffee voters come this year.  We’ll know soon enough!

Now go vote… at the polls.
