Just Discovered: VAPIANO RESTAURANT FRANCHISE
(Source: FranchisePick.Com) According to Happy Franchisee, franchise owner Blake Kolo recently finalized a multi-unit agreement to open three new Vapiano restaurant locations in the Detroit, Michigan and Atlanta, Georgia metro areas.
Vapiano franchise restaurants are known for their house-made pasta, made-to-order pizzas and fresh hand tossed gourmet salads. Dishes are prepared at high temperature exhibition style wok stations with an assortment of fresh herbs lining each table and a chip card payment system that makes for modern high-tech dining. But it’s the uniqueness of the Vapiano dining experience that most appealed to Kolo.
“I was traveling overseas on business and kept hearing great things about Vapiano,” says Kolo, “I went to a couple different locations and it was always packed. It has an amazing atmosphere unlike any I have experienced in the U.S.”
Kent Hahne, president of Vapiano, has big plans for the Vapiano franchise in the States. He says, “healthy and steady expansion through franchising an corporate restaurants is our primary goal. We are elated that the concept has received such amazing feedback here in the United States and that we have acquired such a loyal following.”
Vapiano can be found in nine countries and expects 20 new locations by the end of 2008. The chain is also expanding its international presence with locations in Estonia, South Poland, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Serbia, Croatia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovenia, UAE, Lebanon, Egypt, Bahrain, Omar and Qatar.
Vapiano recently appeared in Fast Casual Magazine’s list of ‘Movers and Shakers’ and its president was named finalist for CMO of the Year by Booz Allen Hamilton in 2007.
