When University of Alabama fans return to Bryant-Denny Stadium this fall, they’ll be greeted by a familiar aroma.
Barbecue from Dreamland will be added to the concession stands at Bryant-Denny this fall, officials with Crimson Tide Sports Marketing confirmed Monday.

But fans looking for the restaurant’s signature ribs still will have to patronize the original Tuscaloosa restaurant off Jug Factory Road, or the franchise in Northport. The stadium fare will include sandwiches and other items.
Ken Wilson, who coordinates catering for the stadium, said Dreamland quarter-pound pulled pork sandwiches, quarter-pound pulled chicken sandwiches, smoked sausage, barbecue nachos and banana pudding have been added to the menu.
The items will be available at five of the 50 concessions locations in the stadium: one on the field level at gate 12, two on the mezzanine level, one on the west upper deck and one on the east upper deck.

Dreamland was founded in 1958 by John ‘Big Daddy’ Bishop in an area just south of Tuscaloosa called Jerusalem Heights. Bishop died in 1997. In 2002, the Bishop family franchised the Dreamland name.
The company has several locations throughout Alabama and Georgia.
