Follow-up photo to the story:  FREE TO GOOD HOME: Grubb’s Diner, Huntington, PA

Owner Jerry Grubb is offering the diner – valued at $100,000 – for free to anyone who will move it and operate it.  Sorry, the vintage sign has been donated to the National Military History Center in Auburn, Ind. A group of Boy Scouts recently restored the sign, which was designed by Grubb’s son, Darin Grubb.  The museum plans to put it up in their car gallery and park ’50s cars underneath it.
